Police officers have seized several vehicles in Nelson as operation ’bin the bangers’ continues.
Today (March 20) the police, DVLA, DVSA and the Council, attended several areas in Nelson.
17 vehicles were seized for being untaxed, two suspected stolen vehicles were seized and two abandoned vehicles were seized.
Bin The Banger's is an operation that is run by Nelson Neighbourhood Team after it received reports of vehicles being dumped around Pendle.
The operation aims to conduct a multi-agency approach, working with the council and DVLA to tackle these issues.
