Hyndburn businesses can get 50 per cent off stall prices at this year's Accrington Food Festival.

The festival, on June 1, headlines a weekend of events in Accrington, starting with a continental market on Broadway on Friday, May 31, featuring a wide range of food and crafts.

It will aim to showcase the very best Lancashire and celebrate the 50th anniversary for Hyndburn Borough Council, and a special commemoration for the 80th anniversary of D-Day.

There will also be a live cooking demonstration area headlined by local TV and Netflix star Molly Robbins,  while Paul Fox from The Crafty Fox will also star.

Any Hyndburn based businesses looking to have a stall at the 2024 Accrington Food Festival now have the opportunity to enjoy a 50 per cent discount off their stall, if they sign up before Friday, March 29.

Chair of Amazing Accrington, Murray Dawson, said: "We want to support local businesses and the Accrington Food Festival is a great way to encourage people to come into our town and spend money.

"The main aim of this year's discount is to encourage more local businesses to sign up for stalls, so visitors to the event can learn more about what Hyndburn has to offer, all while embracing #ShopLocal."
