A cannabis farm containing plants with a street value of up to £75,000 has been discovered in Nelson.
Officers from the neighbourhood policing team in the town made the discovery yesterday (February 21) at the old ambulance station in Rakeshouse Road.
The "significant find" has an estimated value between £53,000 and £75,000 according to officers.
A police spokesperson said: "The Nelson neighbourhood policing team visited the old ambulance station on Rakeshouse Road, Nelson, yesterday.
"A large cannabis grow was discovered with a street value of between £53,000 and £75,000.
"This is a significant find by officers and shows the commitment of Lancashire Police to stamping down in illegal drug supply."
