Burnley’s Jordan North is rumoured to appear on Celebrity Big Brother this year, after fans spotted a comment on his Instagram post.

Jordan North, who recently announced he is leaving Radio 1, posted a farewell post to his 839,000 followers.

His radio co-host, Vick Hope, was quick to comment on the post and said she will be voting for Jordan “every night on Celebrity Big Brother (CBB)".

She said: “I’ll miss you so much Jord [sic], what a radio legend and sweet love. I will be voting for you every night on CBB.”

Is this a hint at Jordan’s next television stint when his Radio 1 journey comes to an end?

ITV has yet to confirm the line-up for its reality show, which is set to return to our screens on March 4.

Hosts AJ Odudu, from Blackburn, and Will Best will reveal the new cast of famous faces who are entering the iconic Big Brother house in Celebrity Big Brother: Live Launch.

The celebrities will leave luxury behind and they’ll take part in the social experiment as they’re isolated from the outside world.

Cameras will catch their every move and they’ll battle it out to become the winner.

Reality television star Jamie Laing is to take over Jordan's role as co-host of Going Home on Radio 1, from Monday, March 4.

The show is broadcast from 3.30pm until 6pm, Monday to Thursday.
