A former police officer from Oswaldtwistle is to stand trial after denying sending images of an injured suspect to his wife.
Cameron Hanson, who worked as a police officer in the Ribble Valley, entered a not guilty plea to sharing clips of body worn footage and images of serious injury to a suspect, to his police staff wife, Kirstie Hanson, 33, between August 20, 2021 and September 3, 2021.
Cameron Hanson, of Packington Brook, Oswaldtwistle, appeared at Manchester Crown Court on Monday (February 19).
The 33-year-old resigned from Lancashire Constabulary while under investigation.
A trial for Cameron Hanson was set for Wednesday, May 8. It will take place at Manchester Crown Court and is expected to last one day.
Former PC Hanson was released on conditional bail until his next appearance, for a further case management hearing on March 22, where he will once again be required to attend court.
