What are the chances that this photo was taken on a Sunday afternoon?
It might not look like a summer’s day but it was, in fact, taken in July 1962 and shows cars parked so that their occupants could enjoy the views over Anglezarke.
Heading out for a drive was a popular way to spend your leisure time and Anglezarke’s reservoirs above Chorley were a popular destination.
There are some classic cars on the photo too - the Morris Minor and Ford Anglia are easy to recognise, but can you identify the others?
