While many people across the county will be eager to start flipping their pancakes this morning or tonight to mark Shrove Tuesday, others might prefer to get theirs made for them.

We have tracked down some of the best restaurants and takeaways where you can get your pancake fix in East Lancashire.

Quick Crepes, Burnley

Serving the people of Burnley pancakes for six years and counting, it is a great time to support a local independent.

Based in St James's Street and open until 6.30pm, Quick Crepes serves both savoury and sweet pancakes.

It's menu includes some more unusual savoury toppings such as tikka, salmon, lamb and 'award winning' duck in hoisin.

Sweet classics include Nutella, strawberry, banana, and much more.

It is also fully licensed and has halal, vegan, vegetarian and dairy free options to suit all dietary needs.

2 Sisters Café and Bistro, Accrington

If you're craving something sweet and fluffy to kick=start your day, look no further than this quaint Accrington establishment.

The menu at the Warner Street cafe consists of mouth-watering Special Buttermilk Pancakes, with Nutella and banana or strawberries.

Indulge in a stack of warm, golden pancakes made with its  signature buttermilk batter, perfectly fluffy with a hint of sweetness in every bite.

Paired with a steaming cup of artisanal coffee, 2 Sisters' pancakes are sure to satisfy your Pancake Day cravings, and is open from 9.30am to 4pm.

La Glacier, Blackburn

The pancake menu at La Glacier is simply mouth-watering.

Are you in the mood for the classic strawberry and Nutella? Or maybe you have a craving for Raspberry and White Chocolate?

Maybe you want to try something completely different and opt for Terry’s Chocolate Orange or The Nutty Professor flavour pancake.

Whatever decadent topping tickles your fancy, there is plenty to choose from at the Whalley Range venue, open from 2pm to 11.30pm.

Dahna Lounge, Blackburn

Based in Barton Street, Dhana Lounge sells crepes or pancakes, and you can find them on Just Eat.

You can choose Nutella or strawberries for your topping and it will only cost you a reasonable £5, partnered with creamy milkshake £3.50 or thick shake (£2.50).

Just Eat reviewers have high praise for this restaurant.

One person wrote: “I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my desserts or milkshake! You smash it everytime dhana lounge!”

It is open from 5pm to 1am, perfect for an after-work trip.

Kaspa's Desserts, Blackburn
