There were delays on a busy Blackburn road following a multi-vehicle crash.
The incident happened this evening (Sunday) on Whalley New Road (A666) between the Whitestone Garage junction and Whalley Range.
Emergency services were at the scene and dealing with the incident which involved a Ford Focus and the Ford Transit van. The van had also appeared to have shunted into a parked BMW.
Traffic heading toward Bastwell was affected and drivers are being diverted on Whalley Old Road to avoid the incident.
