Now it is part of Blackburn’s Cathedral Quarter and an impressive gateway to the town but in 1994 this was Blackburn Boulevard.
The bus station in front of the station was due a revamp as this view from a dilapidated bus shelter would suggest.
On the left you can see a once popular town centre watering hole, the Star and Garter. It later became the Boulevard before closing in 2003.
The large Tuborg Lager sign was one a familiar landmark for bus passengers arriving at the bus station.
