Two men have been charged as police investigate an alleged sexual assault in Preston.
Officers were called to an address in Ribbleton on February 7, to a report of a sexual assault.
It was alleged that a girl has been assaulted by two men working as delivery drivers.
Following an investigation Sadnam Singh, 27, and Navjot Singh, 25, both from Wolverhampton, were charged with sexual assault of a female.
They were set to appear in court today (February 8).
A police spokesperson said: “Our officers were called to an address in the Ribbleton area at 8.56am on February 7 to a report of a sexual assault.
“They found that the girl had [allegedly] been assaulted by two men working as delivery drivers.
“An investigation was started, and two men were arrested in Preston.
“Following consultations with the Crown Prosecution Service, Sadnam Singh, 27, and Navjot Singh, 25, both from Wolverhampton, were charged with sexual assault of a female.
“Both were remanded to appear before Preston Magistrates Court today (February 8) where they were given conditional bail until March 7.”
