Police had a busy week in Fylde, arresting drink drivers, drug dealers and beyond.

A wanted person, described as a high risk domestic violence offender, was arrested, charged and remanded.

A drink driver was located in a rural location. They were arrested, charged and bailed.

In St Annes town centre, a person arrested after police found class A and class B drugs, as well as cash amounts.

A police spokesperson said: “The rural task force team, since their introduction a couple of weeks ago, have put together their patrol plans and priorities for the coming weeks.

“While they do cover the rural communities they also look to tackle reported anti-social behaviour (ASB) and crime within the urban areas on Fylde supporting our policing teams.

“There will always be high visibility patrols in our rural communities and we would urge you to contact us with any issues and we will deploy accordingly.

“We will be routinely deploying in the urban areas with high visibility and plain clothes patrols to tackle the ASB and other crime related matters.

“We really want to have a positive impact on the communities in the Fylde area and we would encourage you to contact us with any information or intelligence that can assist us to do this.
