Anyone looking for the perfect start to the February half term is being urged to get themselves along to St Mary’s Chambers for the Big Family Night Out extravaganza.

On Friday (February 9), the Rawtenstall venue will be hosting a live family magic show featuring one of the North West's leading family magicians Darren Mac, plus a live set from piano and vocal duo The Lomax brothers.

The Lomax Brothers are a popular duo basing their show on versatile piano skills, vocals and light-hearted humour with a broad musical repertoire.

While professional magician and comedy cabaret performer, Darren Mac, has been described as “incredible” by King Charles, and is one of the busiest children’s entertainers in Yorkshire.

A spokesperson for St Mary’s Chambers said: “This show will be a fantastic opportunity for the people of Rossendale and our valued customers to enjoy an evening of great entertainment with friends and family at our fantastic venue.

“With fun, games and magic from Darren Mac and some fabulous live music for all generations to enjoy along with hot food and drinks available from the bar.

“It should be a lovely night and a one -off opportunity for all members of the family to come and enjoy an evening here together.”

Hot food such as pie and peas, and hot dogs, are included in the ticket price and the venue’s licensed bar will be open for refreshments and snacks.

Tickets are still on sale for the event, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Doors open from 7pm on Friday, February 9.
