Drivers are being warned of a road closure in Darwen following a crash.
The incident happened earlier this morning (Sunday) on Bolton Road - A666 - just where drivers head out of the town.
A police spokesperson said: “Officers are on scene dealing with a road traffic collision on Bolton Road in Darwen and have closed the southbound carriageway at Woodlea Chase in the Bull Hill area. Please plan your journey to avoid the area.”
A closure late last night on Bennington Street in Audley, also due to a crash has reopened.
Elsewhere overnight, police said the M65 Eastbound carriageway at junction 7 had reopened following an incident.
