Police have arrested a 13-year-old following damage to a number of cars in Eccleston, just outside Chorley.
The incidents happened over the weekend around The Green and on New Mill Street and Bannister Lane.
Officers said a teenage boy has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage.
A police spokesperson: "At this time, we’d ask that the public refrain from identifying this individual, so as not to hinder our investigation.
“We fully appreciate the severity of the damage caused and want you to be assured that we have taken swift action.
“If you have any information relating to this incident please give us a call on 101 or report online quoting LC-20240128-0314."
