A driver and their passengers had a “long walk back home” after police checks revealed that the vehicle was uninsured.
The driver found the vehicle on Claremont Avenue, in Clitheroe, on Wednesday (January 24).
The driver had tried to evade officers earlier in the evening.
A police spokesperson said: ”Yesterday evening officers from Ribble Valley neighbourhood policing team found this vehicle on Claremont Avenue, Clitheroe.
“It had earlier tried to evade officers. Checks revealed it had no insurance and the occupants had a long walk back to Burnley.”
