King William Street, Blackburn, 1993
We recently featured a photo of Blackburn shopping centre which prompted a great deal of interest.
We have been back into the archive for this photo showing King William Street in Blackburn in 1993. There are a few shops and businesses which you might remember.
The large Debenhams sign on the shopping centre reminds us of the department store which sadly closed in 2021.You can also just make out the sign for Roy Marlor’s menswear shop on the right.
Does anyone remember the phone boxes that were near to the car park staircase and clock tower?
