A Blackburn and Darwen charity is appealing for volunteers to support the organisation’s services and activities for older people.
Age UK Blackburn with Darwen is looking specifically for volunteers to support older people to get online and also volunteers to telephone or visit isolated older people.
Out of pocket expenses are paid and full training and support is given.
Chief executive, Vicky Shepherd, said: "We rely heavily on volunteers to help older people to remain independent, many of our roles require a minimum commitment of around two hours a week and can be flexible. We pay out of pocket expenses and full training is given.
