Two men have been charged over high-value thefts from Booths supermarkets across Lancashire.
Officers were called to the Booths store on Berry Lane, Longridge, just before 1pm on Tuesday (9 January), to a report that £1,000 worth of Champagne and spirits had been stolen.
Just after 1.20pm, police stopped a car on Common Edge Road, Blackpool, and arrested two men, aged 30 and 27.
Today, (10 January), Eduard Cristea, 27, and Lulian Bucur, 30, both of Warrington Road, Ince in Wigan, were both charged with four offences of theft.
The charges relate to thefts from Booths in Longridge, Penwortham, Longton and Fulwood.
They have been remanded to appear at Blackburn Magistrates' Court.
