In Looking Back last week we had the Boulevard in Blackburn at Christmas. Today, it’s the Boulevard in the snow.
This wintry scene was captured in 1980 and shows a blizzard falling thick and fast.
The roads look passable although the pavements look decidedly treacherous.
You can see some of the shelters which by this time a feature of the town’s main bus station.
Was the taller hut you can see in the centre of the photo for the bus inspector? Perhaps you can enlighten us on that one. Leave a comment if you can help.
