Taken in 1990 this aerial photo gives a great view of the whole site of Blackburn Royal Infirmary.
Bolton Road runs behind the large modern extension which housed several wards at the hospital.
Top left is the petrol station which remains there today and next to it what would then have been a Kwik Save supermarket.
You can clearly make out the original Victorian hospital buildings. If you worked at the hospital perhaps you know what the various buildings in the hospital complex were used for.
If you have any photos of your time there, we'd love to hear from you. Lave a comment or email bygones@nqnw.co.uk
