Police seized an uninsured bike in the early hours, which they also suspected had been stolen.
Very early on Wednesday morning (January 3), police in Chorley stopped the rider of the bike, pictured, after discovering the vehicle was not insured.
Further enquiries made by officers also revealed that the bike was 'suspected stolen'.
As a result the bike was seized and the driver dealt with for relevant motoring offences.
A spokesperson for the police said: "Another uninsured vehicle off our rural roads.
"Initial enquiries also show this bike to be suspected stolen.
"Our stolen vehicle examiners will confirm this in the coming days.
"Driver dealt with for the relevant offences."
