A driver has had their car seized after police discovered their licence was revoked.
Officers were carrying out roadside checks in Nelson when they made the discovery.
The driver of the Citroen C3 Picasso was reported for having no licence and no insurance.
The vehicle was then taken away on the back of a truck.
A police spokesperson said: "The vehicle was seized today by a Team 5 RPU officer.
"Roadside checks were carried out on the driver and it transpired he had a revoked driver's licence.
"The driver was reported for no licence and no insurance and the vehicle was seized."
