A pub in Accrington has reopened after a six-figure renovation and it looks fantastic.
The Victoria Hotel, on Manchester Road, shut in November to undergo a refurbishment.
It reopened earlier this month and Thwaites, which owns the pub, said it has a new contemporary design.
According to the brewery, It has received great reviews from punters since reopened
The food menu has also received an upgrade. Ready for summer, the beer garden has also been renovated.
Speaking to the Lancashire Telegraph when the pub closed, Craig said he was most excited for customers to see the changes made to the beer garden.
He and guests might have to wait a bit longer to see these, with the current miserable weather making a beer garden the last place we'd want to be!
Craig, who has been landlord of the pub for eight years, said: “Initially we needed a new carpet. Thwaites then suggested we carry out a bigger refurbishment.
“We wanted to make some more space for dining.
“We also wanted to change up the beer garden. It is going to look a lot different outside and I think people will be surprised.
“We’ve moved the entrance of the beer garden to make it safer and more secure.
“We have created another 12 covers outside and 16 inside.”
A spokesperson from Daniel Thwaites said: “Following a six-figure renovation, we are pleased to announce that The Victoria Hotel pub in Accrington has now re-opened.
“Featuring a new contemporary yet sensitive design to the bar area, visitors will also find an improved food offering as well as upgrades to the beer garden.
"We’ve received brilliant feedback from our customers and look forward to welcoming everyone.”
