We get more feedback from Looking Back readers about the pubs of East Lancashire than probably any other topic.
This led us to have a delve into the archive and pull out these photos we have taken of pubs in Burnley over the years.
Sadly, many of the town’s pubs have disappeared - as they have across East Lancashire - in part due to a change in drinking habits and also development which has seen some pubs demolished and others forced to close as the houses around them disappeared.
