Police stung a stolen car that was heading towards Burnley in the early hours of Boxing Day morning.
The Kia was reported stolen from Burnley and police spotted it heading back to Burnley from Todmorden, West Yorkshire.
An officer stung the vehicle and arrested the driver, who did not have a licence.
The driver also tested positive for alcohol in a breath test.
A police spokesperson said: “This Kia was reported stolen from Burnley and was sighted heading back to Burnley from Todmorden in the early hours of Boxing Day.
“Never missing an opportunity to remind his team that he’s still ‘got it’, the sergeant stung the vehicle and, despite the recent consumption of a substantial Christmas dinner, ran back to his car with the speed of a thousand gazelles, caught up with the stolen car and arrested the unlicensed driver.
“The driver also provided a positive breath test for alcohol, adding to his list of prospective charges.”
