A group from Burnley are to stand trial accused of possessing class A and B drugs with the intent to supply and possessing criminal property.
Junaid Khan, 23, of no fixed address, Keeley Glover, 32, of Waterbarn Street, Burnley, Alisha Ayoub, 24, of Harvey Street, Nelson, Mohammed Yousef Khan, 18, of Redvers Street, Burnley, and a 15-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Burnley Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
The group deny a range of charges related to alleged drug dealing of cocaine and cannabis and an associated alleged offence, between August 24, 2022, and November 20, 2023,
Junaid Khan denies the offence of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug, cocaine.
Keeley Glover pleaded not guilty to an offence of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug, cannabis resin.
Mohammed Yousef Khan, and the boy, pleaded not guilty to an offence of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug, cannabis resin, and not guilty to an offence of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug, cocaine.
Alisha Ayoub pleaded not guilty to possessing criminal property, namely cash.
The five defendants will return to court in May 2024 for trial, which is due to last 10 days and take place at Burnley Crown Court.
Junaid Khan has been remanded into custody until that date, while the other four defendants were granted bail.
