Mosque pupils competed in an annual football tournament at the Soccer Dome in Blackburn.
The five-a-side tournament was organised by Hafiz Asif Iqbal and Hanif Premi and attracted 100 student from madrasahs across the borough.
A thrilling end saw Ghosia Galacticos defeat Faizan e Raza 3-2 – a reverse of last year’s final.
Organisers said: “The aim of the tournament was to bring the community together and showcase the unity with the different madrassahs in the town.
“It was a lovely day and there was lots of passion from the players.”
Trophies and medals were handed out by senior mosque representatives and money on the day was also raised for people affectedby the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
