The Christmas lights shine down on Broadway in Accrington, creating a festive atmosphere.
Disappointingly there is no date for this photo, however Broadway was closed to through traffic in 1988 so it’s likely the picture is from around 1989/1990.
On the right you can see the distinctive curves of the outdoor market with the Unit 4 Cinema back left.
