We suspect that for the majority of Looking Back readers, this Blackburn town centre building will always be associated with Woolworth’s.
But when this picture was taken in 1995, the art deco-style building on the corner of Church Street and Ainsworth Street was home to a discount retailer.
The building would be demolished as part of the shopping centre expansion.
