An independent Turkish restaurant first launched in Lancashire is opening its second venue in Manchester city centre next year.
Family-owned Chorley favourites Ottoman Bar and Grill are specialists in authentic Turkish cuisine and will be serving up breakfast, lunch and dinner at their new destination venue at Manchester’s Affinity Living’s Riverside apartment community.
The restaurant is set to open in February 2024.
Guests can expect traditional Turkish cuisine, all made from scratch and with the highest quality ingredients. Menu highlights will include Ottoman’s famous chicken and lamb shish kebabs, served with Turkish rice and Arabic salad, freshly made bread and homemade hummus, and specials such as the Lamb butterfly.
Having built up a solid reputation and fanbase in their hometown of Chorley, the Affinity Living restaurant will be the second venue for Ottoman and their first in Manchester.

“We’ve built a solid reputation in Chorley for providing the best quality food alongside a second-to-none service. My team has invested their decades of experience as butchers and working in Turkey’s top restaurants into Ottoman - creating a truly authentic dining experience.
“Manchester was the natural next step for us in opening a second restaurant, and we’ve got big plans to take our dining experience nationwide in the next few years. See you very soon Manchester.”
The luxurious restaurant, spanning 2,863 sq ft, will combine the contemporary with traditional, and blend the vibrancy and colour of Turkish culture with a chic and modern aesthetic.
The design will feature striking purple, blue, and green colourways, a bespoke bar complemented by custom made neon lights, and elegant pampas grass and flowers suspended from the ceiling.
Ottoman Bar and Grill also joins independent bakery and coffee shop Loaf MCR, situated at Affinity Living Riverview, giving residents access to some of Manchester’s best-loved, independent hospitality brands, right on their doorstep.
