Two fire engines were called to battle a blaze at a house in Padiham this evening.
At around 7.15pm tonight (December 4), two fire engines from Hyndburn and Padiham were called to Blackburn Road.
Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used a hose reel, ventilation unit and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the blaze.
Crews were at the scene for an hour and 20 minutes.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “At 7.17pm on December 4, two fire engines from Hyndburn and Padiham attended a domestic building fire on Blackburn Road, Padiham.
“Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel, a ventilation unit and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire.
“Crews were in attendance for one hour and 20 minutes.”
