Taken in 1977, this photo shows a Blackburn building which has quite a history.
Then - as it is now - the building on Montague Street was home to St Paul’s Working Men’s Institute which was established in 1914.
But the building had previously been the home to one of the town’s many successful businessmen.
It was built around 1838 for James Cunningham, a former mayor of the town who owned the Snig Brook Brewery.
If you have any photos of the club over the years we'd love to share them.
