Four fire engines were called to a fire at a business in the Whitebirk area of Blackburn.
The incident happened at around 3.30pm today (Thursday) on Blakewater Road.
A Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Four fire engines from Blackburn and Hyndburn attended a commercial building fire on Blakewater Road in Blackburn.
"Crews used four breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a ventilation unit to bring the fire under control and remain in attendance."
