A Family Health Fair will take place this weekend at a major wedding, banqueting and events suite.

The event - full of fun, activities and information - will take place on Saturday, November 25, from 9am to 3pm at The Grand Venue in Harrison Street, Blackburn.

Things to do include a children’s craft corner with paint, colours and DIY fun as well as activities for the whole family including face paint, Henna tattoos, raffles, prizes and food.

There are also stalls with career advice, digital support, wellbeing and health support, home support, and walking group information.

Visitors can also get free health checks and talks, have a chat with a GP, get their free flu and Covid vaccinations if eligible, and meet the Mayor of Blackburn with Darwen Cllr Parwaiz Akhtar.

It is run by Blackburn North and West Neighbourhoods Primary Care Network, which works with GP surgeries to provide care for people in their communities.
