Two men have been arrested after a man was left with broken ribs in an assault outside Primark.
The men, a 23-year-old and a 20-year-old, have been arrested on suspicion of section 18 grievous bodily harm.
The incident happened on Fishergate, Preston, at around 12.10am on Saturday, November 11.
The victim was walking away from the city centre when his friend was assaulted outside WHSmith's.
He then ran off but was chased by the two men and he was assaulted outside Primark.
He lost consciousness and suffered two broken ribs and serious facial injuries.
A police spokesperson said: "We asked for your help in tracing two men who we wanted to speak to in connection with an assault in Fishergate, Preston, which left a man with facial and rib injuries.
"A 23-year-old man and a 20-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of section 18 grievous bodily harm.
"They have since been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries."
