This is a fascinating photo which shows an area of Blackburn which is much-changed since the picture was taken, possibly in the early 1960s.
Believe it or not, you are looking at Ainsworth Street just off the town centre on a snowy day.
The street sign on the corner of the building is for Back Union Street which is long gone.
The white building is the St John’s Tavern. Can anyone identify the building behind the pub or indeed any other features on this photo?
