A man has been charged after a spate of shoplifting in Accrington.
A number of shops in town were targeted over a two or three month period.
Liam Hendry, 33, of no fixed abode has been charged with 27 theft related offences and one burglary.
He is set to appear before Blackburn Magistrates' Court this morning (November 10).
A Lancashire Police spokesperson said: “A man has been charged following a spate of shoplifting incidents in Accrington.
“Over a period of two to three months items were stolen from a number of shops in the town.
“Liam Hendry, 33, of no fixed abode, has been charged with 27 theft related offences and one burglary and has been remanded to appear at Blackburn Magistrates Court this morning.”
