Police have released images of people they wish to speak to, as they continue to investigate the death of a man, who was assaulted in Blackpool.

On Monday, October 2, 38-year-old Daniel Allsop was assaulted on Bethesda Road. A short time later, he collapsed in McDonalds on Bank Hey Road and was taken to hospital. Daniel died in hospital as a result of his injuries, on Wednesday, October 4.

Following enquiries, and consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, Mali Wright, 29, was charged with Daniel’s murder on October 8, 2023.

Police have now released CCTV images of people who may have witnessed the assault but haven’t yet spoken to them.

Officers do not believe they had any involvement in Daniel’s death.
