A road is closed in Carnforth today (November 6), after a crash on a bridge.
The crash was on Greta Bridge and has closed the road, effecting travel between the area and Lancaster on the A683.
The road is expected to be “closed for some time".
A representative from Lancashire Police said:
"We’re currently at the scene of a road closure on Greta Bridge in Carnforth.
"The closure is on the bridge itself and will effect travel between the bridge and Lancaster on the A683.
"The junction with the A687 remains open.
"The road is closed due to a Road Traffic Collision and we anticipate this will be closed for some time.
"We’ll provide an update once cleared and thank you in advance for your patience."
