Drivers can expect delays on a number of routes in Blackburn and Darwen due to roadworks this week.
In an update, the Blackburn with Darwen Roads team have listed all the major roadworks taking place in the area.
These are said to be planned roadworks only for which permit applications to carry out works have been received, and do not include any deemed urgent or emergency works.
Billing End Road, Blackburn (Opposite Lingmoor) will have two-way traffic controls from Monday (6 November) until Wednesday due to work by United Utilities.
Preston Old Road, Blackburn will have two-way traffic controls at the side of Tintagel Close from Monday until Tuesday.
Pringle Street, Blackburn will have two-way traffic controls from all week Monday until Friday.
Revidge Road, Blackburn will have two-way traffic controls from Friday until Tuesday (14 November )
Sudell Road, Darwen will have two-way traffic controls from Monday until Thursday due to work by Virgin Media.
Winterton Road, Darwen will have two-way traffic controls from Wednesday until Friday.
Bolton Road, Darwen will have two-way traffic controls for one day – Wednesday.
However, there may be some good news for drivers as the Oakenhurst Road junction with Montague Street is set to reopen. According to the One.network the road closure is set to be lifted on Wednesday (8 November).
Essential gas pipe maintenance at the site appears to have been completed with the road resurfaced.
