A man was left with serious injuries following an assault at a takeaway earlier this year.

The victim, 28, was at the Istanbul Takeaway on Church Street in Colne at around 12.20am on Sunday, July 16, when the attack happened.

He suffered serious injuries and was left needing hospital treatment.

Police are now appealing for information and have released CCTV footage of two men they wish to speak with who they think may be able to help them with their investigations. 

A spokesperson from the police said: "Do you know these men?

"We want to speak to them after a man was assaulted in Colne earlier this year.

"We have carried out a number of enquiries to try to identify and trace the two men in the images and we are now asking for your help."
