These smouldering remains were all that was left of Bank Hall Miners Club following an arson attack in July 1993.
The Burnley club had been famous for being part of the Northern Soul scene and it was well known for all-night and all-day sessions and its Boxing Day all dayer, was a must not miss for many - after the Clarets’ game at Turf Moor, of course.
A host of top DJs used to spin the decks there including Steve Ray, Howard Earnshaw, Geoff Buckley, Dave Comer, Mike Kemp and David Ferguson
But the shell of the building had to be demolished following the blaze in the early hours of the morning which at its height saw 35 firefighters at the scene.
