Sudell Cross, Blackburn
Although likely to be more than 100 years old this photo is still instantly recognisable today.
It shows Sudell Cross in Blackburn looking down Preston New Road with the old town hall at the bottom.
On the left was the Sudell Cross Post Office and on the right the Grapes Hotel on the corner with Simmons Street.
You can just see a policeman on duty under the street light at the point two sets of tram tracks converge.
