A Lancashire trust has won a prestigious award at the Multicultural Apprenticeship Awards.
Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust has been announced winner of the Health, Medical and Social Care employer 2023.
The ceremony, held in Birmingham, showcased a range of talent and hard work within multicultural communities made possible with the contribution and support of employers and learning providers.
There were 30 awards in total, across 16 different categories, highlighting the achievements of apprentices and the contribution of those who have assisted them along their journey.

Salma Vali, one of Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust’s occupational therapy apprentices, was also shortlisted for the Apprentice of the Year, in the Health, Medical and Social Care category.
Head of Recruitment at the trust, Farzana Kauser, said: "We are very proud to have been recognised at these awards for the continued work within the trust by our team, managers, practice educators and apprentices to promote and support diversity whilst providing opportunities for individuals to develop and progress here.”
