A man is in critical condition in hospital after collapsing inside a Blackpool McDonalds.

The man, in is 30s, collapsed inside McDonalds on Bank Hey Street on Monday, October 2.

Police do not know how the man’s injuries occurred and an investigation is now taking place to establish what has happened.

Police are asking if anyone has any information about his injuries, or  if they saw anything in the area that raised concerns before 4.30pm yesterday,  to get in touch.

Chief Inspector Tracey McMurdo said: “A man has been left with some very serious injuries, and we are working to find out what happened to him.

“It is really important that if you saw anything you feel could help with our enquiries that you get in contact with us.

“If you were in the area, and saw something that raised concerns, please do let us know.”
