Police are warning people to be careful of being offered high-value items for sale at a lower price as they could be stolen.

It comes after a pushbike was stolen from Water Street in Ribchester between 6pm on August 19 and 11.30am on August 20.

Anyone that has information which could help with the investigation should email 2754@lancashire.police.uk quoting log 2754 of August 20.

A police spokesperson said: "Buying an item that sounds too good to be true? It probably is.

"If you are offered any items of substantial value for a price that is too good to be true and suspect it may be stolen, you can report it via 101 or online."
