A fire broke out at a popular pub in Burnley this afternoon.
At around 2.15pm today (August 31), four fire engines from Burnley, Nelson and Bacup attended the blaze on Yorkshire Street, Burnley.
The fire involved the ground floor of The Turf but the cause of the fire is not yet known and is under investigation.
Crews have been at the scene for three and a half hours now.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “Firefighters used six breathing apparatus, two hose reels a thermal imaging camera and a positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire.”
