Police are looking to speak to a man in connection with a serious assault.
At around 10.50am on August 10, an Audi A6 stopped at the cross junction of Crystal Road and Bolton Street in Blackpool and an argument occurred between the driver, the victim and the victim’s son.
The driver had got out of his car and hit the victim – a man in his 50s – on the head with a tyre iron - a metal lever for removing tyres from wheel rims.
He then got back into his car and drove off. The injured victim was taken to hospital for treatment. Police say his injuries are not life-threatening.
The car and weapon have since been recovered but no arrest has been made so far.
A spokesperson for the police said: “Enquiries are very much ongoing.
“We now need to speak to the man pictured as we believe he can assist us with those enquiries.
“Email forcecontrolroom@lancashire.police.uk or call 101, quoting log 472 of August 10, 2023.”
