A Netflix series about Morecambe boxing legend Tyson Fury and his family has come to Netflix – and viewers are all saying the same thing about the matriarch of the clan.

Paris Fury, author and wife of Tyson, has been praised by At Home with the Furys viewers and been told she “deserves a medal” for looking after her children and helping Tyson as he battles with mental health.

On the show, which aired earlier this month, Paris shows the reality of running the home, taking care of six children and also helping Tyson, who has bipolar disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), when his mental health dips.

While Tyson leaves to train for a boxing match for weeks at a time, Paris remains at home to take care of the children, Venezuela, 13, Prince John James Fury ,11, Prince Tyson II Fury, seven, Valencia, five, Prince Adonis Amaziah, four, and two-year-old Athena.

The show explores Tyson’s spontaneous acts, brought on by his bipolar, from booking a last-minute trip to Iceland to ‘pick a fight’ with the world’s strongest man, embarking on a spontaneous camping trip with the children on a school night – and announcing intentions to buy Blackpool Airport.

Despite the “chaos” of their lives Paris and Tyson been married for 14 years.

On the show Paris said: “I have a giant 6ft 9in child. This is the problem with living with him because he is so up and down. He is all or nothing.

“Once he gets triggered into a bad mood he can’t seem to come out of it the same as a normal person.

“If he is in a dark mode I know to just walk away, let him deal with it himself. I can’t say ‘just snap out of it’.”

On the show Tyson said: “I am aware of when I am dipping, for sure. I am up and down all the time and its uncontrollable.

“I take it out on people around me. Sometimes I seem very selfish and I don’t have control of it.

“It is not like you can pull yourself out anytime you want. You have to go with the flow.”

Since the show aired many people have taken to Twitter to praise Paris, who is currently pregnant with her seventh child.

On person on Twitter said: “So we're all in agreement that Paris Fury is carrying At Home With The Furys and deserves a medal, right?”

Another said: “‘Massive respect to Paris, looking after six children, dealing with cameras and having to tell the 6ft 9in heavyweight champion of the world to put the bins out.”

Another said: “Take a bow. What an amazing woman, wife, mother and all round hero.”

Paris Fury is the literal definition of behind every successful man there’s a woman,” said another.

Another social media user said: “My take away from [the show] so far is that Paris Fury could single handedly run the navy.”

Paris is the author of Love and Fury: The Magic and Mayhem of Life, which details the highs and lows of living with the boxing champion as he battles his mental health issues.

Her second book How Does She Do It?: The Kids, Tyson & Me, is set to be released in September.
