Disaster struck at Accrington Stanley’s Crown Ground in July 1981 when the clubhouse was badly damaged in a blaze.
The club’s club shop manager, Mark Turner, who was just 16 at the time, is pictured sorting through the wreckage.
For Stanley fans, it’s fascinating to see how the ground has altered in the past 40-odd years.
